Become a member of AU Motion

Who can join AU Motion?

  • You are eligible to join if:
    • You are a salaried AU employee on the AU payroll.
    • You work at AU but your salary comes from an external source.
    • You are a member of the Nestor association for 60+ AU staff and former staff.
  • Hourly-paid employees are not eligible for membership.
  • The membership fee is (from January 2025) 125 kroner per month for all members.
  • You must be 18+ years old to join.

Information on payment

The membership fee is 125 kroner per month for all members.

AU staff:

Salaried AU staff: membership fee is deducted from your salary each month.

Externally financed AU staff and Nestor members:

Externally financed AU staff/staff at institutions affiliated with AU and Nestor members must pay their annual membership fee once a year. The yearly membership fee of 1500 kr. must be paid by 15 January for the entire year or for the remaining months from the month in which you join.

Do you want to cancel your membership?

If you decide to cancel your membership, please fill out this cancellation form.

You must cancel your membership in writing. To do so, fill out the form, scan it and email it to medlemsreg-lonAU-motion@au.dk. If we receive your cancellation by the 10th day of the month, it will apply from the end of the same month. In the event that you are still being charged for your membership after your cancellation, you must notify us of this within the first three months after cancelling your membership.

Please note! Members who pay on a once-yearly basis will not be charged a fee for joining or cancelling their membership. However, we are unable to refund membership fees if you cancel your membership.

Special offers for members

General health assessment

A general health assessment includes tests of the following:

  • Blood pressure
  • Weight
  • BMI
  • Fitness test (optional)
  • A spine health check-up to assess spinal mobility, muscular strength and muscular flexibility.

The objective of the health check-up is to:

  • Prevent aches and pains in different parts of the body developing into injuries that require treatment.
  • Motivate you to change your habits.
  • Teach you exercises you can do at home.

The check-up consists of a consultation and different tests and takes about 45-60 minutes. It’s free for all members.

Targeted check-up

Physical therapist Christian Weinhold also offers a more targeted check-up that last about 30 minutes.  This can help you with any aches and pains in your body to avoid them developing into injuries that require treatment. It can include:

  • Massage to release or soften trigger points in muscles.
  • Release of muscle tension.
  • Increasing mobility in stiff joints (primarily neck/back).
